So my line has been put on hold... But I'm enjoying running production for two talented ladies with very exquisite but very different taste.... Anna Larson who is NYC new downtown darling of the all black, goth-girl black hair, and heavy black eyeliner look. Her line ERRO is standout collection of layered luxury pieces with a masculine/feminine sensibility.  ERRO

My newest boss lady is Mandy Coon, what can I say about Mandy... J'adore... We have a great time in the studio and it's so amazing to see how inspired she is... For her Spring/Summer 2011 collection her inspiration was Jellyfish... When I first heard this... I was like ok.... But then to see the collection come together, I was mesmerized... I call her Couture Mandy, because for Fall 2010, we had these beautiful jackets/pants that had chiffon covered chains, which the interns and I labored intensively on... I'm glad that'ss over, but does are the details that make her clothes so magical....

So here's a little glimpse into what I'm working on... There's masculine tailoring and seaming details... Layering and streamlined minimalism... I'm inspired by the art of Mark Rothko & the architecture of Mies Van Der Rohe... There is also an element of sports apparel through some of the fabrics...

So the relaunch of Michel Delon is being delayed because I picked up a great job with MANDY COON running production... But I'm still plucking away getting samples together to hopefully relaunch before the end of the year with a small capsule collection composed of 10 looks... I feel very inspired and happy... The collection was starting to go in a very dark direction but now that my life seems to be back on track, the mood is start to lighten a bit... But the Michel Delon woman is moody girl, so she needs things for all her different facets.... Hopefully next week I will have a sneak pick at one of my first samples...
